The Turtle Bay Resort is an upgraded hotel located on a sandy swimming beach on the famous north shore of Oahu approximately 1-hour from Waikiki and the Honolulu Airport. This property is close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and the popular surfing beaches. There are many hotel amenities which include 3 pools, waterslide, 2 jacuzzi's, restaurants, lounge, room service, sundry shop, beauty salon, apparel shops, activity desk, 2 golf courses, tennis courts (fee), full-service spa, outdoor activities and a year-round children's program (ages 5-12 & fee).
All of the renovated hotel rooms, studio beach cottages & one bedroom suites have air conditioning, cable TV, safe, refrigerator and a coffee-maker. A balcony is on a request basis only and cannot be guaranteed. All rooms are non-smoking.
The Turtle Bay Resort is an excellent choice for golfers, tennis buffs and any type of traveler wanting an outer island experience on the island of Oahu. There are a few shops and restaurants within a 5 mile drive of the hotel.
Beginning in January, 2013 with a scheduled completion date at the end of October, 2013, the hotel will be undergoing the 2nd phase of renovations to include all guest rooms, a new spa, fitness center and both Palm Terrace and 21 Degrees North restaurants (effective January 13, 2013, Palm Terrace Restaurant will close for renovations. It will reopen as North Shore Kula Grill on April 4, 2013). While Palm Terrace is closed, breakfast will be served daily in 21 Degrees North (21 Degrees North will close on April 7, 2013 and re-open as Pa'akai on May 23, 2013). As an alternative to the breakfast buffet, guests will be offered a choice of a starter, entrée and a non-alcoholic beverage for each guest that has pre-purchased breakfast. The value of the coupon will remain the same. When guests arrive at the hotel, they will be given a breakfast coupon which outlines the inclusions). Tower rooms will be renovated one wing at a time with each wing being closed off during the duration of the improvements. Guests staying in the other two wings will not experience disruptions. The restaurants will each close separately. The spa, beauty salon and fitness facility will be temporarily repositioned within the resort. By April, 2013, the first newly renovated restaurant, fitness center, new spa and the first guest wing will be completed. The second wing will be completed by late June, 2013 and all renovations are scheduled for completion by the end of October, 2013. The General Manager and staff will do everything possible to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
